This blend of Arabica and Robusta coffee beans was known as Tradizionale Rossa when it was only sold in Italy, partly because it is one of the oldest Segafredo recipes. For many years, Segafredo Intermezzo was probably the only espresso available in whole beans in Germany and, for decades, practically paved the way for today's espresso craze. He and the Segafredo roastery deserve credit for this ground-breaking work. Segafredo Intermezzo is mainly used in fully automatic machines in large offices, as it also has a very good price-performance ratio.
